We are pleased to be able offer free off road parking (a rarity in Mevagissey) for all of our guests. We are happy for you to leave your car on our large driveway during your stay whilst you visit the village or other local attractions.
In room refreshment facilities
All of our rooms have tea / coffee making facilities, fresh milk and bottled water is provided daily or upon request and stored in a silent running mini fridge in each room.
All of our rooms have new flat screen digital TVs.
Free Wi-Fi is available for our guests to use – it is a secured network accessed by a password that is changed routinely.
We have, by local standards, quite a large garden with a Southerly aspect, parts of which are in full sun nearly all day and in which our Guests may relax with a book and a cup of tea or simply soak-up the Cornish sunshine (all we ask is that you provide your own sun protection lotion!).
Local walks / cycle paths
Mevagissey is on the South West Coastal Path, and National Cycle Route 3 - Lands End to Bristol (southern option via King Harry Ferry across the River Fal).
Opposite Boscombe B&B is the foot / cycle path to Heligan (1½miles), a safe, gentle traffic free walk to what is becoming a major attraction.
For those wishing to abandon the car there is a regular local bus service to Fowey via St Austell; the Mevagissey bus stop is a 150m walk away. From St Austell you can catch buses to local attractions including Eden Project, and local and mainline trains to further afield.
For something different you could walk to Mevagissey harbour and catch the Ferry across St Austell Bay to Fowey.
Cornwall is well served for air travel, Newquay airport is approx 45min drive with summer links to most major UK airports providing a link to Europe and beyond.
